The Realty Awards® are open to public and professionals in the areas of honor, recognition
and competition. They are:
Category 1 – Home Owner Of The Year (H.O.O.T.Y Award)
For the person or family that persevered and completed the arduous mortgage process and
successfully obtained a new mortgage for their primary residence. (Award to the Home
Owner and where applicable to any supporting seller, mortgage company, home
furnishing/supplier, landlord, contractor, realty company, agent and investor)
Category 2 - Best Real Estate Company
Honoring those elite realty companies who demonstrate excellence in sales, management
and service in real estate. (Award to the real estate company and where applicable to any
supporting seller, buyer, and/or mortgage company)
Category 3 - Best Mortgage Broker and/or Company
For the company that has arrived at the pinnacle of mortgage and refinance, delivering the
best customer service and support. (Award to the mortgage company and where
applicable to any supporting buyer, seller, realty company, agent and investor)
Category 4 - Best Contractor
Our hard hat’s off to the contractor or contracting company that keeps the roof up; the
water going down, and all the home solutions just a phone call away.
Category 5 - Best Home Furnishing/Supplier
For the company that assisted their customers and contractors achieve realty dreams of
making a house a home by supplying excellent service and products for building,
remodeling and furnishing of communities.
Category 6 - Real Estate Guru of the Year (individual)
Dedicated to honoring an expert individual in real estate who excels in service; a passionate
leader and knowledgeable role model.

seller and mortgage company)
Category 7 – Rookie of the Year
Acknowledging the startup in realty that put his or her chips in real estate and made the
choices that made them successful. (Award to a new person or company and any related
or supporting person or company involved in the nominee’s story)
Category 8 - Best Tenant
For the tenant responsibly maintains & appreciates the property while caring for the
neighborhood we applaud you. (Award to the tenant(s) and any related or supporting
person or company involved in the nominee’s story)
Category 9 - Best Landlord or Management Company
For the landlord or management team who consistently manages and maintains quality and
affordable property. (Award to the landlord or management company and where
applicable to any supporting contractor)
Category 10 - Homebuyer Of The Year
Different from Home Owner Of The Year, this honor goes to those determined few who
successfully secured a land contract or rent-to-own for the purchase of their primary
residency, but have not closed on a bank loan in the eligibility period.
(Award to the Homebuyer and where applicable to any supporting seller, mortgage
company, landlord, realty company, agent and investor)
Category 11 - The “Safe at Home” Award for Best Save
Because bad things happen to good people we recognize there people & companies that
help save the homes of families in our communities. Best Save is awarded to those who
helped homeowners or sellers by either financial, service and/or mechanical/maintenance
support.

agent or investor)
Category 12 – Remarkable Close… in a purchase or sale
Where 'outside of the box' & jumping through the hopes to reach the closing table in
record time saved the day we highlight those that made it happen.

involved in the nominee’s story)
Category 13 – Life Time Achievement … Hall Of Fame
A Lifetime Achievement Award for pioneers and survivors in the realty products & services
field. (Award to the recipient and any related or supporting person or company involved in
the nominee’s story)
